We feed Tribute and Purina feeds. Most of our fosters shop at Reubinsville Feed Mill in Portland. If you are so inclined, you can donate toward our monthly bill by calling Jerime at 615.325.3651.

Become a Foster Farm or simply volunteer!
What does “100% Volunteer" mean?
It means that your hard-earned monetary donation goes right back to the care of the animals - not to pay someone’s salary or cover their vacation rental. Safe Harbor does not have employees. From the Board of Directors to the adoption team, foster coordinators, event coordinators and foster farms - no one earns a salary. We do not pay board on horses in our care. We do not own real estate. We are a small but mighty, efficient organization where the animals come first - and with the utmost respect for our donors.
Donations pay for the very real costs of horse care: feed, hay, farrier, vet care, professional training (when needed), and the minor overhead costs of maintaining a website, mailing, printing and basic administrative costs.
