Request Assistance Grant
For years, Safe Harbor Sanctuary has provided financial assistance related to veterinary bills, vaccinations, castrations and humane euthanasia when privately contacted about a horse or owner in need.
Our goal in 2022 and beyond is to help more owners and horses in the middle Tennessee area with these needs and expenses, as donations to this program allow us to do so. Please note: This is a needs-based program. Please do not apply if you can afford these services. We do plan to host our regular spring and fall castration clinics in addition to this program.
An examination by a veterinarian will be performed prior to any request for euthanasia, and an ethical decision will be made at that time.
