Safe Harbor Success Stories: Adopted 2017
Age: 20
Breed: Thoroughbred
Height: 16.1HH
Trinity joined Safe Harbor at Thanksgiving 2016 during a neglect investigation in North Nashville. She was the sole surviving horse on the property.
Trinity is an OTTB, but is an easy keeper–doing well on a normal ration of hay and grain. She is gentle, sweet, and calm, and wants to be loved. Trinity leads, loads, ties, stands for the farrier, and accepts a blanket. She does have some arthritis, and so an ideal home for her will be one where she can be a pasture companion; though light riding may also be an option for her. She is typical of senior horses–mellow, experienced, and good for a novice horse owner because she has the knowledge of how to act with people. Trinity came to our Breeds of the World event, and was a star! She was seen by many people and was a gem with all of them, allowing little kids to love and hug her. Trinity is seeking a companion home, and her adoption fee has been waived. Trinity has a jockey club ID, but we were unable to read her #.
