Success Story – Adopted June, 2020
Rosie is a cute as a button 19 year old pony. She came to rescue from neglect with an untreated eye injury that caused her a great deal of pain. Rosie’s eye was not able to be saved, but in the process of becoming a one eyed wonder pony her life changed for the better. Rosie gained new life–a life free of eye pain, and learned to love and trust people once again. This litte redhead needs a home where she can be a companion, and she does great in a pasture with one or two other horses.
She would be an ideal match for someone who needs a buddy horse for a show horse or a trail rider who doesn’t want their main riding horse to be home alone all the time. Rosie doesn’t mind staying back. Another option for her would be to be the only horse for a family that just wants a pony to love, groom and pet. She is in a foster home with young children and does well with humans of all ages. She’s been around livestock including sheep, goats and chickens.
