JoeBabe is spectacular. Big (17 hand) beautiful bay, retired unraced. JoeBabe was pointed toward foxhunting as a second career, but he craves the focus and structure that dressage provides. He LOVES arena work, and does not enjoy working out in the big wide world. He would be a phenomenal mount for an adult amateur dressage rider. He is not a schoolmaster – yet – and needs someone who can work with him and bring out his potential.
If you’ve followed us any length of time, you may know that JoeBabe has been with us since last June. Why? Simply put, he needs a rider. He is the typical young thoroughbred, full of personality, that does best in a program being ridden 3-4 days per week. When he’s not worked consistently, work becomes play 🙂 JoeBabe lives in an all-gelding herd and enjoys pasture plus stall. In our hard Tennessee clay, he is most comfortable in front shoes, but could be worked up to barefoot life.
PPE welcomed. JoeBabe’s adoption fee is currently $2000 – he’s too nice of a horse to sit in a pasture during the week and needs to be in a program! *** Not ready to adopt but interested in something to ride this show season? Ask us about a lease or lease-to-adopt option! His fee is subject to increase this winter as we are looking at starting to haul him.***
