Success Story – Adopted March 2020.
Grace is a 6 year old, 14.1 hand, naturally gaited black Tennessee Walking Horse mare.
Grace was originally adopted in 2016, but due to some life changes, she has returned to Safe Harbor. Grace came from a herd of registered TWH’s that were severely neglected in White County. She is purebred and said to be of Pusher lines, but no papers are available.
Grace has wonderful ground manners and enjoys being with people. She is green under saddle and will need an intermediate or better rider to add to her skill set and finish her training. She knows move forward, turn and stop, but needs to be refined on leg and speed cues. She is content to walk unless otherwise asked. A season on the trail and she will be a solid mount for anyone.
Grace is used to living outside 24/7 in a small mixed herd of mares and geldings. She is up-to-date on farrier, deworming, Coggins and vaccinations.
