Success Story – Adopted 2019
Cecille, previously known as “Scarlet Pony,” was adopted more than 3 years ago to a family who’s life has changed, so she returned to Safe Harbor to receive training and find her new forever home.
Because we already had a “Scarlet” available for adoption (plus we’ve adopted 2 other “Scarlets” in our history!), she’s gained a new name for her new life. This sweet pony is halter broke and has solid ground manners. She’s been turned out in a herd of horses and does fine in a mixed herd of geldings and mares. She’s been around and handled by children since she was first in rescue at 18 months old. She is a clean slate ready for under-saddle training. She stands 12.3 hands and is fully mature. She is up to date on routine care including vaccinations, Coggins, farrier and deworming.
Cecille/Scarlet originally came to Safe Harbor as part of Operation Mississippi Blues in partnership with Animal Rescue Corps in 2014.
Cecille is available for adoption to a professional/trainer-level home or to someone who will commit to training. Her fee is subject to increase when she enters training with us.
