Success Story – Adopted 2019
Bond (TWHBEA “Million Dollar Bond”) is a coming 7 year old, approx. 15.1 hand Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. Bond has has had extensive training. In fact, he went through the Police Academy as a mounted patrol prospect – but due to a size mis-match with his rider, he was sold to a private home rather than becoming a patrol horse. That home used him as a therapy horse but did not ride him; when she had some life changes, Bond joined Safe Harbor.
Bond is currently being ridden in his foster home as the weather allows, but could really use a 30-day tune up to bring out his best. This boy is sensitive, intelligent, and LOVES people – and with an intermediate – experienced rider, his potential is unlimited. Trail ride him and show him in the gaited classes at saddle club on Friday nights. This is a very nice horse who has never known abuse or neglect.
Safe Harbor horses are UTD on vaccinations, Coggins, deworming and farrier care. Pre-purchase exams by a vet of your choosing are always welcome.
